International Conference for the 80th Anniversary of the Korean Mathematical Society was held at the Seoul Science and Technology Convention Center from June 22 to June 25.

At this conference, Jaekyoung Lee, graduate student in our department under the supervision of Professor Daewook Kim, received a poster award for his outstanding research achievements.

Jaekyoung Lee gave a presentation titled “Self-Organizing Neural Tissue Simulation Platform for Inferring and Validating Developmental Mechanisms.” This research investigates how the division and interactions of individual cells affect the growth and cellular composition of brain organoids.
