At the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Korean Society for Mathematical Biology, I presented a poster entitled “State-Space Estimation of Noisy and Nonlinear Systems via Gaussian Mixture Filtering” and received the Outstanding Poster Award. In this study, I proposed a Gaussian mixture filtering-based state-space estimation method to effectively estimate the states of nonlinear and noisy dynamical systems. I also evaluated the estimation performance and potential applicability of the proposed method under various conditions. Building on this recognition, I plan to further advance this line of research and continue investigating complex and nonlinear biological systems using mathematical and computational approaches.
